Babe Zaharias Golf Course will be closed to the public on July 22, 2009 as trained professionals inject a
non-hazardous soil fumigant designed to eliminate parasitic nematodes that are eating and destroying the roots of the grass. The facility will close for all use during and 24 hours following the injection, and signs will be posted around the course and clubhouse.

Rocky Point is a fine public golf course facility conveniently located within 15-minute drive of Tampa International Airport as well as many luxury hotels in the West Shore and Rocky Point areas.
Sand and water come into play often. In fact, the many lakes on the course have become a wildlife habitat as well as a bird sanctuary.
